A bistro built around meat and wine
Bistro 816 sits in the same backstreets as our yakiniku restaurants, but the register is different: quieter, slower, built for a conversation across a table. The kitchen leads with meat — A5 wagyu lean steak, beef tongue braised in red wine — and the wine list is chosen to sit alongside it. There is a fully private room for eight, and on Saturdays and Sundays the doors open at 12:00.

Of the 24 seats, eight are in a fully enclosed private room. Counter seating is available if you are dining alone or as a pair.
Open from midday at weekends
Saturdays from 12:00 to midnight and Sundays from 12:00 to 23:00, so it works for a long lunch as well as dinner. Fridays run until midnight.
