Charcoal-grilled yakitori using Awaodori jidori chicken,
and more than twenty kinds of house-made shumai dumplings.
Two things are made here. The yakitori uses Awaodori jidori, a branded native-breed chicken from Tokushima Prefecture, grilled over charcoal. Alongside it are more than twenty kinds of house-made shumai — steamed dumplings more often associated with Chinese cooking, reworked here as an izakaya dish. The building is three floors tucked behind Ohatsu Tenjin shrine, and it is open from midday every day.

Awaodori is a branded jidori chicken from Tokushima Prefecture — the highest-shipping jidori in Japan and the first to receive Special JAS certification. It has more texture than ordinary chicken, which is what charcoal grilling is for.
Shumai here is not a side dish. Over twenty varieties are made in house, including prawn, sea urchin and shiso-and-whitebait. The 16-piece signature platter is the easiest way to try a spread of them.
42 seats across three floors, plus a terrace. The 2nd floor seats 16 and the 3rd floor 18, and either can be reserved for a group. Open 12:00–23:00 every day.
